The partner program for clubs, shops and shows

Train clubs, hobby shops, shows, newsletters and channels can share Keep My Trains with their own link and code, and earn a share of what their people pay.

Step by step

Read about the program and apply on the partner page. A person reads every application and answers by email within a few days.
Once you're approved, the email has your link, your code and a button to choose a password. Continue with Google works too, with the same email address.
Sign in and open your partner dashboard: the link is on your Account page, and if you don't keep a collection of your own, signing in takes you straight there.
Under Links and code, copy your link or code, make a link for one place with a campaign tag, save the QR code, or print a sheet of cards.
Under Banners, pick a banner for your website, newsletter, social post or forum and copy its code. Every banner carries your code.
Under Settings, add your PayPal email so we can pay you.

What your people get

Anyone who uses your link or types your code gets a 60-day free trial instead of the usual 30 days. No card is needed to start.

What you earn

30% of every payment a new collection you sent makes in its first year, including a move to a bigger plan during that year. Renewals after the first year don't earn anything. Your dashboard shows clicks, sign-ups, trials, payments and what you've earned.

When you're paid

Each payment waits 30 days, in case of a refund. After that it counts toward your balance. Once a month we send what you're owed by PayPal, in US dollars, when it's $25 or more, and email you a statement. A refunded payment comes back off your balance.

Who gets the credit

Someone who clicks your link is remembered for 90 days, so they can sign up later and you still get the credit. If they type a partner's code, that partner gets it. Your own collections, and people who already had a collection, never count.

Changing your PayPal email

For your safety we email a code to your account's address first and tell your old PayPal address. Payouts to a new address wait 7 days.

What you can see

Numbers and numbered rows only. We never show a partner who signed up: no names, emails or collections.

The rules

Share it honestly with your own members, customers, readers or viewers. Coupon and deal sites, spam, and paid search ads on our name aren't allowed. A changed code keeps working for 90 days. The partner agreement has the details.

For members

The partner program is for groups, businesses and organizations. A refer-a-friend reward for members is coming.
